That's not just my opinion – it’s coming straight from the people who work most closely with your representatives in Congress.
That's why I'm coming to Los Angeles, home of several influential members of Congress, to hold a training on how the average person can use one of the most powerful advocacy tools out there.

I know meeting with your representative or his or her staff might sound intimidating, but it’s easy if you have the inside scoop on the skills and art of lobbying. I’ll be holding a special community training for activists this weekend, and I would love to see you there.
In this workshop, I’ll tell you everything you need to know about how to set up a delegation to your local congressional office, offer important tips on maximizing the effectiveness of your meeting, and give you a chance to practice your lobbying skills. I’ll also have materials for you to use and share with your fellow activists, and refreshments will be served.
Jon Rainwater, Executive Director. For over 25 years, Jon has been active in campaigns on issues of peace, nuclear disarmament, social justice and environmental sustainability. 
Rebecca Griffin, Political Director. Rebecca is spearheading campaigns to get Afghanistan right, and promote a diplomatic solution with Iran. 
Katie Heald, Deputy Political Director. Katie is the national coordinator of the Campaign for a Nuclear Weapons Free World.
