I have a lot of family in Mexico, and they tell me everyone who knows about it loves the idea of money for the military. They have done a great job in selling it as an anti-drug operation. I just hope equal eforts in informing the public are being done there as we will do here.

I don't know why president Bush has to keep on getting us into more and more trouble throughout the world. He seems to think that the answer to everything is to use military force. What the U.S. needs now is more friends and less military involvement. There are other ways to solve problems without having to use military means. Furthermore, the whole war on drug thing has got to stop, it is endless and unnecessary. Everyone has a right to chose what he does with his or her own body. No government has a right to interfere.
As far as Calderon is concerned, the people voted for him basically because he was PAN and they didn't want to go back so soon to PRI. Furthermore, before the elections, he promised to be the "president of employment". He didn't say anything about being that anti-narco president. The people didn't vote for that. Pure lies from Calderon
Another thing is that he barely won. Not only that, but he suspiciously won exactly the way Bush won both of his elections. I think further investigation is merited in both the Bush and Calderon elections. I happen to think that some dirty work is responsible for them winning.
